A special birthday: the Franco-German ‘European Studies/Etudes Européennes’ degree programme at Paderborn University is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To mark the anniversary, a ceremony will be held on Monday, 4 November at 6 p.m. in Paderborn's historic town hall. The programme includes words of welcome from the mayor, members of the Executive Board and faculty representatives from Paderborn University and Le Mans University. The highlight of the ceremony will be a discussion with the President of the Franco-German University with current and former students of European Studies on the topic: ‘Franco-German study programmes as a contribution to strengthening Europe’. Anyone interested in attending the ceremony can register for the event by sending an email to info@europaeischestudien.eu by 21 October.

‘European Studies/Etudes Européennes’ is an interdisciplinary, binational degree programme that links the universities of Le Mans and Paderborn in a special way. The students from Germany and France each spend one year at the partner university and obtain a double Bachelor's/Licence degree. The programme is supported by scholarships from the Franco-German University.
