Executive Board
The Executive Board manages Paderborn University. It consists of the President, a Vice-President for Operations and four Vice-Presidents with different areas of responsibility. In addition to the President, the Vice-President for Operations is a full-time employee. Together with the other governing bodies, the Executive Board is responsible for the organisation and development of research and teaching at Paderborn University.
A special feature of Paderborn is the close involvement of the faculties: the Executive Board and deans form the extended university management in the Consilium decanale and meet regularly once a month.
Prof. Dr. Birgitt Riegraf was elected as the new President on 24 January 2018. The new Executive Board took office on 1 April 2018.
