365足彩投注_365体育投注@ of the Women's and Gender Studies Section of the Society for Music Research from 15 to 16 February at the Musicology Department of Paderborn University and Detmold University of Music

Anyone who would like to find out about the current state of gender studies in musicology and join in the discussion will have the opportunity to do so from 15 to 16 February in the Kuppelsaal of the Detmold University of Music. On these two days, international researchers will present current projects. The spectrum of topics ranges from female composers such as Clara Schumann and Aleida Montijn to female musicians associated with John Cage and Hans Werner Henze and the sound of queer music. The event is open to anyone interested and registration is not required.

The Women's and Gender Studies working group conference has established itself as a biennial format for more than ten years. Its special quality lies in the fact that innovative ideas and impulses are put up for discussion and developed further together. The idea of this workshop conference is also that experienced colleagues and researchers in early career phases as well as researchers outside academic institutions meet at eye level. Guests are welcome to join in the discussions. The conference is being organised by Prof. Dr. Rebecca Grotjahn, Dr. Anna Ricke and Prof. Dr. Antje Tumat from the host musicology department and Prof. Dr. Cornelia Bartsch from Hamburg. The conference is sponsored by the Mariann Steegmann Foundation.

Further information on the conference can be found here.
